Project A: The Saturday-Saving Credit Manager

Learning Lessons: Software gaps aren't a reason to settle; they're a chance to build. When you leverage tools like Power Platform to bridge those gaps, you turn 'it can't be done' into immediate, measurable ROI.

Situation: Fully automate the past-due identification and email outreach system to give the manager his weekends back.

Action: Instead of dragging the work out to fill the time, I systematically analyzed my daily movements. Over several weeks, I optimized the cleanup sequencing, staged my tools in advance, and eliminated wasted motion in the prep workspace.

Result: By empowering the worker to own the clock, I crushed the 3-hour runtime down to 1 hour. This freedom to innovate the cleanup sequence bought back 2 hours of personal time every day while securing 100% of the pay—proving that when you stop policing hours and start incentivizing efficiency, everyone wins.

Project B: The PDF Drug-Test Scraper

Situation: An HR department was receiving 200 to 300 pre-employment and random drug test results every month via email. A coordinator earning $85,000/yr had to manually open every single PDF attachment, transcribe the data into their HR system, and manually re-upload the file, consuming 8 to 10 hours every month.

Task: Eliminate manual PDF data entry and automate document management.

Action: I built an automated Power Automate cloud flow that triggers the moment a drug test email arrives. The system automatically scrapes the critical text fields directly out of the raw PDF attachment, pushes the data cleanly into the corresponding HR system fields, and instantly attaches the original PDF document to the employee's digital file.

Result: Manual PDF transcription was deleted, turning 10 hours of monthly boredom into 30 minutes of oversight. Beyond the $4,800/year savings, we removed the friction of human error. HR morale improved immediately because the team was empowered to focus on people, not scraping data from attachments.

Project C: The $500k Field Foreman Automation (In Progress)

Situation: A major industrial company has roughly 120 field foremen who are forced to spend 30 to 60 minutes every single week manually filling out tedious administrative compliance and field forms. Because these highly skilled foremen cost the company $100/hour, this administrative drag burns $10,000 to $12,000 every single week in non-productive labor.

Task: Architect a mobile-first automation to completely remove manual administrative burdens from field leaders.

Action: I am currently designing and deploying a Microsoft Power Platform automation that streamlines field data capture, auto-populates known project variables, and replaces manual form completion with smart, context-aware triggers.

Result: This automation is reclaiming thousands of hours for the field team, projecting a $500,000 annual bottom-line win. By removing the administrative burden from 120 foremen, we aren't just cutting costs—we're letting highly skilled leaders lead. Productivity is the natural byproduct of removing their biggest headache.
